Feb. 12 School daze Anniversary

We are embarking up on the historic phenomenon of a Spike Lee Joint, School Daze was a social genius for the African American community. School Daze came out on Feb 12 1988, a little over twenty years ago. musical-drama film, written and directed by Spike Lee, and starring Laurence Fishburne, Giancarlo Esposito, and Tisha Campbell. Based in part on Spike Lee’s experiences at Atlanta’s Morehouse College, it is a story about fraternity and sorority members clashing with other students at a historically black college during homecoming weekend. School Daze was the second feature film directed by Spike Lee. Spike Lee was asked to stop production on the campuses of Morehouse, Spelman, and Clark Atlanta University during filming because the colleges’ Boards of Directors had concerns on how Historically Black Colleges were being portrayed in the film. Lee had to finish filming at the neighboring Morris Brown College.

Grammy Party

February 11, 2007

On Sunday February 11,2007 there will be a semi pose event going on at Justin’s eatery. This is going to be a viewing party for the Grammy Awards hosted by a few of the elite sponsors. Sometimes I wonder what Atlanta has next. Nothing is wrong with having a drink and having a good time and fellowshipping with others. But tell me why is it that Atlanta’s party scene always seems to find a way to have a party for anything and everything. Aside from that if you do happen to go down to the party or have already gone to the party tell me how it was and email us back on how the event turned out.

This has to be a site to see!!!
